I never thought postcards would reach a different height. Before, all we see are landscapes and cultures converted into photos. But now, postcards are actually used to convey messages to different audiences.

The exhibit was held at the Forum, 4th level Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street, Taguig last March 13 to 16, 2008. Different postcards from different parts of the world, such as Singapore, France, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, Russia, Netherlands, UK, Japan, and the Philippines, were showcased for public viewing and apprecitation.

I was there, March 14. Not much peopele, but still as many postcards. Eye-candies.

The Yo Card People. They were really nice and accomodating. I salute them for what they fight for.

How can I miss the concert of the rock band that highly influenced my music inclination during my high school days? OK, I missed their first concert here. But after that, I told myself not to miss them again if ever they are giong back.

And fuckin yeah, thank god they did.

Kit – After their Make Yourself album, the guys are going downhill don’t you think?
Me – I’m not sure, but yes, I miss their old sound.
(Insert some moment here)
Me – I heard Incubus is having a concert here. Light Grenades tour of some sort.
Kit – Oh yeah, get us some tickets!
Me – Downhill huh?
Kit – Says who? Suntukan kami.

I went with my best buddies. Kit, Mike, Omar and Justin. Too bad Jobo, Jappeth, Xavier and Migs wasn’t able to go, I’m sure thay have their reasons. But too bad, they missed a lot. And with that, I mean A LOT.

The concert was kicked-off by an oozing performance by Up Dharma Down (grabe, dun pa lang solve na ang gabi). Then fast forward na.

The concert proper:

Seriously though, the night was really amazing. Real fans went out there to rock their hearts out with the band. Real fans baby. The whole crowd was singing to their every song. From start to finish. You can imagine the people singing with the band, while great concert lighting hits every face of the fans. Surreal moment I tell you.

So ayan, aaminin ko, Put@ng*n@, solid fan talaga ako. Haha.

Kit is right. It’s dead hard to put the whole experience into words. Tawagan mo ako, kwento ko na lang sayo.

(I’ll fix this entry. I’ll place more photos as well. I just can’t fight the urge. I need to post this.)
